Dark circles or shadows under the eyes are a very common problem. Approximately one in four people have dark eye circles. Sometimes it can be from shadowing under the eyes, or increased pigmentation under the eyes but most commonly it is due to a blood issue. Our studies show that the fragile thin skin under the eyes will be translucent and one sees the vessels below the skin.
